About Me

Hi, I’m Cassie, a creative engineer from Northern California.

I study Creative Technology and Design, an engineering major at University of Colorado, Boulder, from which I will be graduating in December 2024. Prior to changing majors and moving to Colorado, I studied Psychology at California State University, Chico after earning three Associate degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Social + Behavioral Sciences from the local community college. While I didn’t continue with these latter subjects, I still use the knowledge gained from them today.

What does “Creative Technology and Design” mean though? Put simply, I love making things. The major gives a wide foundation ranging from electronics and programming to graphic and sound design. From there, students are able to focus on what interests them. My concentration was primarily on electronics, 3D modeling and printing, and iterative design.

In my own time, I enjoy collecting random crafty hobbies such as bookbinding and playing video games while hanging out with my two cats.
